Taking to the sea is where your adventure begins…

Situated just off England’s South Coast, the Isle of Wight is the perfect place for a Campervan adventure.

Whether you bring your car with you or simply travel as a foot passenger, once you are on the ferry your Island adventure has already begun.

Book your car ferry crossing as part of your holiday.  Ask us about our rates.

If you bring your car…

We have parking at Camper HQ which is free for your use whilst you are enjoying the Isle of Wight in your campervan.

We do advise though, that you pack as lightly as possible.

All of our campervans already have a kitchen sink so there is no need to bring too much with you.

Please ask us about our campsites that can offer you a reduced rate car ferry crossing which can save you at least £50 at peak periods.

We will be very happy to pick you up from either the Fast Cat or Hover in Ryde. Try and pack into smaller soft canvas bags rather than one big suitcase but always remember that “Less is More” in all of our VW Campers. If you are driving to the South Coast and leaving your vehicle in either Southampton or Portsmouth we can advise you regarding the available parking options.

Red Funnel’s “Red Jet” high speed passenger service arrives into West Cowes after a 25 minute crossing of the Solent. Wightlink’s “Fast Cat” operates from Portsmouth Harbour Station, so if you are arriving by train this is a great choice.  The 22 minute trip will dock at Ryde Pier Head and we will be more than happy to meet you there and drive you back to Camper HQ.
