Welcome to the "Isla Wight"
We are delighted to announce that "Isla" has now joined our campervan family on the Isle of Wight. She has enjoyed a superb conversion thanks to Dan and his team at Custom Camper Solutions near Market Harborough and as we write she is enjoying her first hire on the Isle of Wight.
Isla's brand new campervan conversion has been a complete success and the list of her attributes is quite lengthy but with the room offered by her long wheelbase chassis, there is plenty of room for it all to fit.
In addition to all of her high quality campervan fittings we have also fitted a towbar so that Isla can carry an Atera Strada DL3 bike carrier. This ingenious bike carrier is easily fitted and can carry 3 bikes in style. With the flick of a switch the bikes slide away from the van so that you can still open the tailgate with the bikes attached.
The Titan M1 crash tested bed is another ingenious addition and this is easily changed from seat to bed and back again. You can even have the bed in a reclined position if you're just enjoying a lazy day and chilling in the van.
With her Austop roof conversion Isla has room for two in her pop-top roof, but if you don't need the bed platform then it very cleverly pushes up on gas struts to give you great headroom inside the camper.
Mounted on the top of Isla's roof is a 120 watt solar panel. As long as you have some sunshine the solar panel will allow Isla to remain off grid and without an electrical hook-up if you're at a Festival or out in the Wilds.
After all, we all know how important it is for the drinks to stay cool!!
